Hi --name-- !
Third Newsletter from Cesar, it took me some time, so much happened...
In recent projects, the sensitive body was at the center of my research. Even more recently our "common body" within the network became my interest. At the very moment I'm looking at system engineering and architecture... |

1 "Nano Skincare", replace sacrifice by transformation
 |
In a close future, demographic pressure, political conflicts and warfare could find a pacific answer in human asexual reproduction. Nano Skincare is a new ritual form, emphasizing the perpetuation of life through generations, pushing people to love each other more absolutely. The project Nano Skincare is the construction of a powerful symbol : unlike Jesus-Christ sacrificed himself for humanity, Nano Skincare enables two parents to transform into one child : replacing the painful ideology of sacrifice by the fulfillment in transformation.

This project has been highly controversial and mostly misunderstood, I am very interested by your opinion on this project. Please understand deeper. |

4 "Linkedin Groups"
 |
I created these groups on LinkedIn.com and I now administrate them. Do you want to join? It is free and without obligations. LinkedIn is a place to find and leverage professional opportunities, now and throughout your career.
It is not facebook, it is a striclty professional network, serious.

5 "Go Neutral"Carbon offsetting for the rest of us
 |
I closely work with Edward Murfitt (Royal College of Art, Industrial Design Engineering) on this carbon offsetting forum. Before the Kyoto protocol, I was very young indeed, but I was firmly against the carbon trade, thinking than it was an other political weapon of the "devellopped country" to pressure "developping countries"... Time has passed and the Carbon market is now an unavoidable economy between countries and major companies. Assigning an economical value to pollution shouldn't be necessecary, but bringing pollution into economical consideration is a very positive fact, as negtive wealth.
So far, carbon offsetting only concerns nations and large corporations, but it has been proven that not only design is responsible for pollution but mostly individual behavior. So, we tried to build a platform that will reward individual and collective civilian initiative toward carbon reduction.
We may continue this project under the direction of Ross Lovegrove, maybe.

6 "Future Karaoke" + "Open Sailing Platform"+"Biotech"
 |
About two weeks ago I gave a short presentation at Future Karaoke about my dissertation project "The Open Sailing Platform". Last week in the RCA Design Interactions Department, we launched the "Biotech" brief. I feel very lucky to observe convergeance in my different activities, it is going to happen, it is happening.
So on the short term, I'm researching on cybernetics, distributed computing, neurosciences and floating architecture (especially organic): if you have any reference or idea for me, please let me know. If you are interested in biotechnologies you can visit our department research blog (requires authentification, write me and I create a custom user for you).
