Key pollution sources that impacts the oyster farms are also identified. Namely: Garbage patches, pollution from shenzen, Factories pollutions, Farms in hong kong to release waters with bacteria and chemicals, and sediments from the china hong kong boarder river. A more detailed description is in the JPG attached above.

Summary:

Although the shallow water in deep bay is ideal for oyster growth, external factors such as pollution from nearby areas may affects oyster growth. It will be better to relocate the oyster farms to cleaner waters.

Key problem of the existing marine farm in deep bay area has been identifies, namely overcrowding of oyster racks, difficulties to travel to and inspect oyster racks, difficulties in harvesting.

summary:

The deep bay marine farm is overcrowded, farmers are hard to get there and investigate their racks. Furthermore, It is hard or impossible to relocate. IF there will be a device that can hoist them easily and offers remote monitoring of the racks, plus relocation of overcrowded farm will be ideal

Investigation of multi species cultivation:

"The trio, oyster, fish and algae is a winning combination. Fish waste feeds algae while oysters feed on algae. "

It is concluded that modern aquaculture systems usually involve cultivation of more than one species, adn it will benefit the ocean ecology as well as the harvest.
