A. What are typically the points of friction with decision-makers to install floating structures? How do you convince the decision makers and overcome these?

  • Design is the most important to convince the client. Study the area before in detail. We do value engineering, design with clarity of budget. Land value and the cost of pontoons is also important. Reuse and re-sell of pontoon is an important consideration. Environmental friendliness. "Leave no trace" is our approach.

B. How many years for a municipality to break even on such investment such as a swimming pool? - 2.5M Euros. 5-10 years. Our structure are unsinkable, filled with ABS.

C. Have your worked in NOT rich countries? What would you do differently in a less-resourced country? Hotel villa in Indonesia.

D. How big of a structure can you you build that is rigid (say steel and concrete) and at what scale do you need to have flexibility joints? What do you make your joints with?

E. Do you use standard plastic pontoons blocks? Or do you make your own flotation blocks?

F. What is the most green floatation material one can use and why? - Concrete.
