In the latest episode of Groovers and Shakers - a Facebook Live series where we speak to a local entrepreneur each week - Cesar Harada showed us around Makerbay, a co-working space for innovators, engineers, designers and crafters.
Since its launch in 2015, Makerbay has been central in driving the local maker movement. It has participated in and hosted many education projects. For example, its team of designers and engineers worked with 20 students to build an electronic vehicle as part of FIA Formula Eās education program. In addition to the space in Yau Tong, it also opened a branch in PMQ, offering classes on laser-cutting, woodworking and metalworking, etc.
