Our Vision Changemakers in the sustainability landscape of the hospitality industry The G.R.E.E.N. Hospitality aims to facilitate a better connection and promote dialogues between all related industries in the hospitality sector, to improve sustainability measures and create initiatives for positive environmental impacts, while exchanging knowledge on the success and challenges in achieving their sustainability goals.

Our Mission Our primary mission is to encourage businesses to work together to bring about innovative, sustainable, cross-border advancements to the global hospitality industry through innovative and engaging events and activities. Unlike other sustainability initiatives within the hospitality space, the G.R.E.E.N. Hospitality focuses on all aspects in regards to hospitality, including hotels, supply chains, airlines, food, and others.

Our Goal Companies in the hospitality industry are consistently ranked among the most proactive and focused on ESG issues and CSR initiatives. Through the promotion of better sustainability practices and strategies within the hospitality industry, the G.R.E.E.N. Hospitality strives to make the ever-growing tourism and hospitality industry a driver for positive change for people, profit, and the planet.

Hackathon activities

Virtual Preparatory Workshops

To prepare everyone for this innovation journey, we will be holding a series of virtual workshops for the registered participants. Participants will learn about the concepts of Social Innovation, Design Thinking and how to pitch innovative ideas to the audience.

Friday evening will be a kick-off event for the G.R.E.E.N. Hospitality Hackathon. It will be a chance for the registered participants to come together for the first time and meet their peers, other teams, organisers and some of the mentors.

G.R.E.E.N. Hospitality Hackathon Competition

"Hacking" in the teams will happen on Saturday between 9:00 am - 5 pm. Teams will

work on fine-tuning of their ideas and preparing a pitch that will be presented to the audience at the G.R.E.E.N. Hospitality Innovation Night the same evening.

teams who will pitch their projects to a panel of judges.

This event is open to the public but prior registration is required to ensure social distancing.
