This is the order in which I keep my savings by the amount in CEFI accounts:
- Yield.app (YLD #505), most of my holdings are in ETH and BTC - and Yield has some of the best rates if you hold 20,000 YLD tokens. Furthermore, you can earn a lot of YLD in the bear market in ADDITION to the high yield. I believe in addition of the high yield, it is a sleeping giant.
- Celsius (CEL #70), gives me great APYs weekly, including TAUD (Australian stablecoin). CEL has been growing steadily.
- Nexo (NEXO #83), is very good too, really feels like an online banking account, and it seems to have a functional credit card, and attractive APY on Euros.

In the table, I've indicated stablecoin with "_" and CEFI Tocken with a "*" and their ranking at the date of publication, July 18, 2021.
I excluded some stablecoins, meme coins, scam coins, and shit coins for conciseness and to help people getting rekt. Let me know if I have missed an outstanding CEFI service, I'd be happy to add the data to this table :)

Update 2021/12/15
- Yield.app
- Nexo
- Celsius
- Swissborg
- Voyager
- BlockFi
Update Aug 21, 2021
My ranking
- Yield.app assuming you have 20,000 YLD in your YLD wallet. https://www.yield.app/ - super high APY as they are launching
- Celsius, earning in CEL token with >25% CEL: https://celsius.network/earn-rewards-on-your-crypto - Impressive APY given the maturity of the project. You can
- Nexo, earning in Nexo token: https://nexo.io/earn-crypto - great for European folks, and highest APY holding Nexo Token
- YouHodler: https://www.youhodler.com/earn-crypto - pretty good!
- Swissborg: https://swissborg.com/smart-yield-account - for Swiss folks, with affordable on-ramp.
- MatrixPort: https://www.matrixport.com/crypto-invest : more complex products
- Blockfi, Tier 1 (0 - 0.25 BTC | 0 - 5 ETH | 0 - 100 LTC | 0 - 750 LINK | 0 - 50,000 USDC | 0 - 50,000 PAX | 0 - 50,000 DAI | 0 - 750 UNI | 0 - 25,000 BAT): https://blockfi.com/rates/ - used to be competitive, but APYs are no longer competitive frankly. I dislike how fast it is to on-ramp (2 days), but how slow it is to withdraw (1 week to whitelist, 2 days to withdraw)
- Voyager: https://rewards.investvoyager.com/interest/ - Less charismatic, but excellent APY and a big list of crypto
- Crypto.com: CRO Staked 40,000 USD or more, staked for 3 months or more: https://crypto.com/earn : I cannot use this in HK.
I've also added some exchanges that runs locked staking that are pretty competitive.
- Binance Locked Staking: https://www.binance.com/en/pos
- AscendEX: https://ascendex.com/en/staking
There must be lots of others.
I have some referral codes so you can earn some bonuses:
I did not add the services of Liquidity Providing, because that's a whole different level of risk that people looking for a high APY "Crypto Savings Account" may not be interested in.
Another way to earn great APY is to lend (with Kucoin for instance : https://www.kucoin.com/margin/lend)
Of course, each individual project would enable you to either stake yourself, or delegate your stake
- Aave 6.85%, BPT 15.75% APY [Jul 18]: https://app.aave.com/staking
- RUNE 22.29% APY [Jul 18]: https://www.stakingrewards.com/earn/thorchain
- Terra: https://www.terra.money/#8
- If you are ready to venture in DEFI (Decentralised Finance), it's a huge world out there! Check out: https://www.stakingrewards.com/
There are so many ways to earn in crypto...
Update: March 26, 2022
- Yield app (#690 in CoinGecko)
- Nexo (#88 in CoinGecko)
- Celsius (#80 in CoinGecko)
- SwissBorg (#177 in CoinGecko)
- Crypto (CRO #17 in CoinGecko)
With coming regulations CeDeFi (Centralised Decentralized finance) that are highly compliant in terms of KYC are in a really good position. I find YLD particularly interesting given its high APY rates and low ranking / capitalization.
Swissborg Token has also been going down
Update: March 29, 2022
Yield.app falls down to rank #722 on CoinGecko and the oscillation range is closing down.
Yield has some of the market highest APY on ETH, BTC, Stables, they anticipate regulation so require KYC, and they will soon release its IOS app, and talk about a credit cardโฆ If they do a bit of marketing, this could explode to the upsideโฆ
Today YLD market cap (fully diluted) is 73M USD or 0.073B USD.
Letโs asssume it could grow to half that of NEXO 2.4B. So letโs say 1.2B
1.4/0.073 = 19.17x from here
The team has only released half of the 300M YLD supply, so they could sell at the top and dump the price to a smaller multiple, but still a great upside in my opinion.
Update: 24 April, 2022
It looks like NEXO is now leading the APY wars. Thatโs an invitation to migrate ETH and BTC to Nexo while keeping both YLD and CEL on their own platforms.
Nexo: https://nexo.io/earn-crypto (ranked #87 on CoinGecko)
BTC: 6% in BTC or 8% in Nexo
ETH: 6% in ETH or 8% in Nexo
PAXG: 8%
NEXO: 12% in Nexo
Yield: https://www.yield.app/en/yld (ranked #706 on CoinGecko)
BTC: 4.5% in BTC + 3% in YLD
ETH: 4.5% in ETH + 3% in YLD
YLD: 6% if unlocked, 12% if locked for 12 months
Celsius: https://celsius.network/earn (ranked #104 on CoinGecko)
BTC: 2.5% ( on BTCย 0.1ย -ย 3ย BTC)
ETH: 5.35% max (on first 30 ETH)
PAXG: 7.21%
CEL: 5.10%
