Gallerie Harada, Exhibition “Self Select” by Artist Yoshinari Nishio

I design and built an art gallery in Paris. The first and only I had was “Self Select: by the amazing artist Yoshinari Nishio. Because I was accepted to do a Master in Design Interactions at the Royal College of Arts in London, I closed down the gallery.

通りで偶然すれ違った人と衣服をそっくりそのまま交換する。特定の集団が纏う特定の装いは、「私たち」と「かれら」を区別する基準として、言葉以上に重要な役割をもっている。多種多様な文化と人格を装っている人々が混在する都市で、コミュニケーションのあり方を新しく操作する。
