Ming was born in Hong Kong and grew up in Canada. She obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts in University of Toronto and her Post-graduate Diploma of Education in Special Education (SEN) in University of Hong Kong. She has taught in the Harbour School for 5 years and focused mostly on teaching the lower primary science, digital design and laser-cutting.
