Educators and researchers Cesar Jung Harada and Theokritos Papadopoulos will discuss and present how art and design are used to protect people and the environment.
Cesar Jung-Harada is a French-Japanese artist, designer, environmentalist, educator, entrepreneur, passionate about Ocean Technology, Impact Innovation, and Education based in Hong Kong. Cesar is the Director of the MakerBay Group, Scoutbots, Senior Lecturer in Design and Architecture at The University of Hong Kong
Dr Theokritos Papadopoulos is a Greek artist and researcher based in London. He investigates the role of materials in art and has recently been looking at collage in the digital age and its relationship to collective trauma. He sees that art works can be as 'relational objects' in a way similar to Winnicott’s ideas around transitional objects.
