Biodiversity can generally be divided by 3 levels:

  1. Genetic diversity: Variation of individuals within the same species
  2. Species diversity: different kinds of organisms in the same environment
  3. Ecosystem diversity: Variations in habitats & communities of organisms

Goods and services provided by a healthy ecosystem
